About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with users to understand their needs, conduct research on workflows, and collaborate with developers to create intuitive and beautiful applications with sound information architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to establish an understanding of their unique needs
  • Research user workflows and observe applications in use
  • Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
  • Demonstrate ideas through various levels of finish: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
