About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating joyful experiences and will work closely with users, developers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
  • Research user workflows and observe applications in use
  • Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
  • Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills

Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with user research methods
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
