User Experience Designer

About the role

We are seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating joyful experiences and will work closely with users, developers, and other designers.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
• Research user workflows and observe applications in use
• Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
• Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

• Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
• Bachelor's degree or greater
• Experience relocating to Madison, WI, for employment

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills

Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
