User Experience Designer

About the role

We are seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user needs and will collaborate closely with developers to create intuitive and beautiful applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
• Research user workflows and observe applications in use
• Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
• Demonstrate ideas through various levels of design fidelity: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

• Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
• Bachelor's degree or greater
• Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

• Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
