User Experience Designer
About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. This role requires relocation to Madison, WI.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
- Research user workflows and observe applications in use
- Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
- Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor's degree or greater
- Strong user experience and visual design skills demonstrated in a portfolio
- Experience relocating to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Knowledge of Epic’s products and systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
