User Experience Designer

About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring that applications are both functional and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
  • Research user workflows and observe applications in use
  • Work closely with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
  • Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or greater in related field
  • Reimbursement for relocation to Madison, WI
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Cover letter addressing how your skills align with the role

Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
  • Knowledge of design principles and usability guidelines
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
