About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring that applications are both functional and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
- Research user workflows and observe applications in use
- Work closely with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
- Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor's degree or greater in related field
- Reimbursement for relocation to Madison, WI
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Cover letter addressing how your skills align with the role
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Knowledge of design principles and usability guidelines
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
