About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. This role requires relocation to Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs
  • Research user workflows and observe applications in use
  • Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
  • Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • Reimbursement for relocation to Madison, WI
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Qualifications

  • Strong user experience and visual design skills
  • Experience with UX/UI design tools and methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of information architecture and usability principles

Skills

  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Knowledge of user research methods and usability testing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
