About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with users to understand their needs, conduct research, and collaborate with developers to create intuitive and visually appealing applications.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to gather insights and define user needs
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions
- Observe applications in use to identify pain points and opportunities
- Collaborate with developers to translate designs into functional applications
- Create various levels of design fidelity including sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or greater in related field
- Experience in user-centered design techniques
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience and visual design skills
Qualifications
- Ability to relocate to Madison, WI
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Eligible to receive financial relocation assistance
