About the role

MINI of Tempe, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their team and provide exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience through your work.
• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards.
• Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors.
• Ensure compliance with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
• A friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, and positive "team-player" attitude.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• A safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• 3+ years of dealership experience.
• Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

Pay

The wage range is not guaranteed and is estimated based on expected production/sales. The minimum for this position is Arizona state minimum wage. Compensation for this position is based upon production/sales.
