What You’ll Do
- Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose causes of vehicle malfunctions and complete repairs independently
- Complete all work in compliance with safety requirements
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality and proper operation
- Accurately track time using company timekeeping systems
- Thoroughly document repairs, diagnostics, and test results
- Maintain and supply your own set of standard technician tools
- Properly use and return special tools and shop equipment
- Use shop materials responsibly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete daily stall cleaning
- Ensure all vehicles are returned in clean condition
- Complete required training and stay current with technical bulletins
- Maintain and pursue manufacturer and ASE certifications
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Follow dealership policies related to safety, professionalism, and attendance

Technical Competency (Class C Level)
- Must be able to perform without supervision: Lube & Maintenance Services
- Engine Repair
- Suspension & Steering Repair
- Brake Repair
- (Heating & A/C Repair preferred)
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of automotive technician experience
- Manufacturer certification in core repair areas
- Minimum of 1 ASE certification (ASE Master Technician preferred)
- Proven ability to achieve >100% customer pay productivity
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
