Used Car Technician

About the role

Join Chevrolet of Bend to set records and meet customer needs. We're seeking an ambitious Used Car Technician with the drive to succeed and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repairs.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, cleaning stalls daily.
• Return customer vehicles to them as clean as before servicing.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications through required training.
• Participate in and use technical training as assigned by management.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Communicate constructively with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in automotive technical knowledge.
• Experience in engine repair, suspension/steering repair, brake repair, electrical/electrical systems repair, and heating and air conditioning repair.
• At least 3 ASE certifications (ASE Master Technician preferred).
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Pay

$24.00 per flat rate hour and up, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
