About the role
The Used Car Sales Director at Jackie Cooper BMW and Mini of Edmond is responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining top sales talent, setting measurable performance standards, understanding the market, developing strategies for acquiring, managing, and moving appropriate inventory, developing and maintaining strong relationships with the fixed operations department, establishing goals, leading the department to consistently surpass goals, empowering employees to achieve maximum performance, attending sales manager meetings, and more.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and retain top sales talent. Set measurable performance standards.
- Understand the market and develop strategies for acquiring, managing and moving appropriate inventory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with fixed operations department. Understand fixed operations and reconditioning center processes.
- Establish goals and lead department to consistently surpass goals.
- Empower employees to achieve maximum performance.
- Attend sales manager meetings
Qualifications
- At least two years of automotive retail sales experience.
- Possess proven leadership and management tangible and intangible skills to train, develop and retain top talent.
- Professional appearance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Be able to present orally to a public audience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
