Usability Engineer 2 with Security Clearance

About the role

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD. Telework is not available for this position. Focus on 508C compliance testing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with users (analysts) to research and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios
• Collect and document user requirements
• Create user interface design specifications
• Work closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications
• Conduct usability testing
• Design and develop user surveys to obtain user feedback

Requirements

• Ten (10) years in this or related field
• Five (5) years user-centered design and testing experience
• Familiarity with task analyses, user interface design, and usability testing
• Bachelor's degree in cognitive and/or experimental psychology, human factors engineering, or an engineering related field (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, business process engineering)
• Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
