Position Summary
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and instock and inventory levels. Budgets, forecasts sales, assesses economic trends, and community needs. Models and enforces proper customer/member service approaches and techniques to resolve issues within company guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Budgets and forecasts sales
- Affirms economic trends and community needs
- Ensures proper merchandise presentation and accurate pricing
- Trains and mentors Associates on customer/member service
- Oversees community outreach programs and ensures Associates serve the community
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Hires, trains, and develops Associates
- Provides supervision and direction for Associates
- Ensures quality eyewear is provided by consulting with and educating Members/Customers
- Maintains confidentiality and performs minor frame repairs
- Supports job-related activities and assignments
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supports company mission, values, and ethical standards
- Respects individuals and builds high-performing teams
- Works collaboratively and communicates with impact
- Acts with integrity and maintains high standards of ethics and compliance
- Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering various stakeholders

Qualifications
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules
