About the role

As a Landscape Technician at our local retail store, you'll oversee landscape projects and collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain the grounds year-round, ensuring cleanliness standards in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Perform mowing, trimming, and pruning to keep the exterior environment pristine.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
• Experience in third-party management.
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 – $35.00. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
