About the role
As a Landscape Technician at our local retail store, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing landscape projects and collaborating within a dedicated team to maintain the grounds year-round. You will help uphold cleanliness standards and ensure the exterior environment remains pristine while adhering to safety, security, and integrity protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ground maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas.
- Perform mowing, trimming, and pruning to maintain a well-kept exterior environment.
- Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
- Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
- Experience in third-party management.
- Experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
