Position Summary
The Staff Solution Consultant role involves bridging complex business needs with effective solutions, analyzing industry trends, translating requirements into actionable designs, and guiding cross-functional teams through solution development and integration.
What you'll do

- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases demonstrating projected ROI and cost savings.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical groups to ensure clear communication and solution delivery.
- Evaluate technology landscapes and recommend innovative approaches to improve processes and product offerings.
- Lead user acceptance testing and validate solution functionality across cross-functional teams.
- Manage integration and configuration activities to ensure seamless deployment and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles to drive successful outcomes.

The Walmart LocalFinds team focuses on transforming the local shopping experience by connecting customers with neighborhood retailers through Walmart Marketplace. This team collaborates across functions to drive innovative solutions that support local business growth and enhance customer engagement.
What you'll bring
- Proven expertise in solution design, architecture, and solution selling aligned with business requirements.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, strategies, and customer success management to drive effective outcomes.
- Experience with project management and sales engineering to support product demonstrations and technical leadership.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into functional solutions using APIs and integration management.
- Familiarity with risk assessment, configuration management, and software quality assurance methodologies.
- Demonstrated capability to analyze business metrics and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, information systems, mathematics, business, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.
- Option 2: 6 years' experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or related area and 2 years' experience in enterprise design, implementation, or consulting.
- Prior work experience in the technical integrations between SAP, Workday, etc. and third-party applications.
- Prior work experience using technology packages such as SAP, Workday, Infor, and Coupa based on business requirements.
- Prior work experience writing functional specifications and test scripts.
- Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
