What you'll do

• Lead delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code using multiple programming languages and best practices.
• Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
• Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply sound technical judgment to build scalable, secure systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance, support CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.

About the team

The team leads modernization efforts within the SAMs Replenishment area by delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions through collaborative engineering and a product-focused approach. Members apply strong technical skills in platform design and development, integrating advanced technologies including generative AI to drive innovation.

What you'll bring

• 6 years of experience with developing and supporting complex systems using Java/JEE, Spring, Spark, Databases: Relational (Azure SQL, Postgres), Cloud: Azure/GCP, Cloud Platform, Airflow DAGs, micro-services architectures, event-based architecture (Kafka), Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development methodologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
