(USA) Senior Meat Cutter

About the role

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities

You will be a team member, collaborating with cross-functional teams, educating other associates, and providing customer service. You will also be an expert, maintaining in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations, and providing meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications.

You will leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. You will drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, planning for profitability, and maintaining a work area according to company policies and procedures.

You will be a talent ambassador, being an advocate for the department and the club, modeling high-quality service and products, and executing the basics at the highest possible level of quality. You will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and respect the individual, embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences.

Requirements

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department
• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Meat Processing Area experience

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
