What you'll do

• Lead cross-functional strategic technology initiatives to enhance information security across global markets.
• Establish and promote best practices for security governance, risk management, and compliance with corporate policies.
• Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Oversee security audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security protocols with business objectives and evolving threats.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Drive implementation of security controls and monitor effectiveness to safeguard organizational assets.

What you'll bring

• Proven leadership experience in information security management and strategy development.
• Expertise in cyber security, including risk assessment, threat identification, and mitigation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, policies, and compliance standards.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure and Hardware Security Module technologies.
• Skilled in conducting security audits and implementing controls to address vulnerabilities.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute security initiatives aligned with business goals.

Additional Compensation

• Annual salary range: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
• Performance-based bonus awards
• Stock options

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5 years' experience in information security or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• Option 2: 7 years' experience in information security or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company. 2 years' supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Security+, GISF, CISM, or CISA.
• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years' experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects.
