(USA) Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics (BI Platform Enablement – Operations)

About the role

The Sr. Manager, BI Platform Enablement – Operations oversees the operational aspects of AISLE One, Walmart’s enterprise analytics platform for Customer Engagement Services. This role involves championing AI-assisted development practices, managing offshore development teams, and facilitating continuous improvement through structured stakeholder feedback.

Responsibilities

• Champion AI-assisted development practices across a team of 3 managers and 13 offshore developers running 2-week Agile sprints.
• Serve as the primary liaison between CES director-level business partners and engineering, translating ambiguous problems into sprint-ready requirements and constraints into stakeholder-friendly language.
• Own the AISLE One platform roadmap across dashboards, AI/ML monitoring surfaces, People Analytics, and compliance tooling built on React, FastAPI, and WCNP.
• Facilitate design thinking discovery sessions and drive continuous improvement through structured stakeholder feedback and data standardization.

Requirements

• Proven manager-of-managers experience leading offshore development teams through Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Familiarity with React, FastAPI (Python), and containerized deployment on WCNP or Kubernetes — enough to lead engineers and evaluate technical feasibility with confidence.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development tooling and applying emerging AI capabilities to BI and analytics delivery.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Plotly, BigQuery/SQL).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis, Statistical programming languages (for example, SAS, R)
• Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Information Systems, Masters: Statistics
