Position Summary

The Senior Director, Baby Fashion Merchandising, leads strategic initiatives to anticipate member behaviors and industry trends, driving value and sales across channels. This role oversees assortment planning, item merchandising, and supply chain collaboration to optimize member experiences and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies that anticipate member behaviors and industry trends to drive sales, meet more of our customers closet needs at an extraordinary value

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize assortment plans, improve member experiences, and align category strategies with business objectives

  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to forecast demand, mitigate risks, and inform decision-making processes

  • Lead supplier negotiations and partnerships to secure favorable terms and enhance supply chain efficiency

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering innovation and operational excellence across merchandising and supply chain functions

  • Improve store and digital experience

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, promoting accountability and strategic leadership

This team leads the largest baby fashion business in the United States, delivering exceptional style and quality at extraordinary value. The Sr Director is responsible for leading divisional strategy, omni channel assortment and planning, and driving omni channel innovation through deep expertise in digital, stores, product development, and financial acumen. This leader must excel in cross-functional leadership, supplier relationship management, and data-driven decision-making. They will foster a collaborative culture emphasizing servant leadership and strong connectivity. They will capture market share by offering customers more of what they want, need and love.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience in merchandising leadership with proven ability to develop and execute category and assortment strategies

  • Deep digital expertise

  • Strong expertise in trend analysis, consumer behavior, and data-driven decision making to anticipate member needs and market shifts

  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional team leadership and collaboration with supply chain, operations, and strategic partners

  • Proficiency in profit and loss (P&L) management and driving cost efficiencies while enhancing member value

  • Skilled in strategic negotiations and supplier relationship management to optimize terms and capabilities

  • Commitment to fostering talent development through coaching, mentoring, and feedback

  • Ability to leverage digital tools and analytics to inform business strategies and improve performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising or related field OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising or related field

  • 4 years’ experience with direct responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) statements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Merchandising or related field, Supervisory experience
