(USA) Sanitation and CIP Associate, Manufacturing/Interview - $23.00/hr (Fri-Sun 6:30PM - 7:00AM)
Position Summary
Monitors Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Clean In Place (CIP) systems, and Pest Control programs.
Assists with internal audits, pathogen swabbing root cause, and corrective and preventive actions.
Assists with food safety issues as they arise.
Conducts and documents assigned sanitation activities to ensure proper maintenance of the facility and equipment.
Maintains and receives sanitation supplies, tools, and utensils.
Conducts routine maintenance, preventive cleaning activities, and special cause cleaning activities.
Maintains facilities in accordance with government food safety and quality standards by conducting validation testing and product evaluations.
Provides input to the Sanitation Manager and Chemical Contractor to provide best chemical options for sanitation of the plant.
Collaborates with FSQA team to ensure compliance with the Safe Quality Food Code Food Safety manual.
Follows Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), food safety codes, and other applicable laws and requirements.
Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines, including using personal protective equipment, operating machinery and equipment safely, reporting any hazards, near misses, injuries or accidents immediately, and actively participating in safety trainings and drills.
Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents and contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols.
Maintains awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety, and the safety of others.
Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Utilizes the Open Door Policy.
