Position Summary

Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback, training, and guiding associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting and handling, and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Supports the Sams Club ecommerce plan by overseeing operations, auditing online customer feedback, resolving customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues to management, and identifying trends.
  • Supervises Associates by training and providing resources to meet store associate needs, assigning duties, providing feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring associate coverage at the ecommerce pickup location.
  • Executes the Sams Club Pickup plan and processes by updating Club operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring fulfillment, maintaining equipment availability, and evaluating CPU performance.
  • Supports projects to improve CPU efficiencies by leveraging key performance indicators and leadership insight to resolve operational gaps, modeling appropriate picking and loading, executing process improvement projects, evaluating program execution, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance, supporting self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning areas, stocking, arranging, organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrinkage, securing fragile merchandise, and ensuring proper product selection and staging for club pick-up orders.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, analyzing and applying information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
  • Acts with integrity by maintaining and promoting the highest standards of ethics and integrity, explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices, implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating and executing work assignments, providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved, and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
