About the role

Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting and handling hazardous materials, adhering to company steel standard guidelines, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management.
  • Supports the Sam’s Club ecommerce plan by overseeing operations of ecommerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up, Ship From Club), auditing online customer feedback, resolving customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues, and identifying trends to support solutions.
  • Supervises associates supporting ecommerce programs by training, assigning duties, providing feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring coverage at the ecommerce pickup location.
  • Executes the Sam’s Club Pickup plan by updating operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring equipment availability, maintaining awareness of execution goals, training associates, evaluating performance, and supporting metric development.
  • Supports projects to improve CPU efficiencies by leveraging KPIs, modeling appropriate picking and loading, executing process improvements, evaluating program execution, identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and ensuring proper staffing.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance on self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile or high-shrink items.
  • Oversees the picking and staging of club pickup orders throughout the day to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates and promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by guiding and modeling application, implementing action plans, and assisting with ethical or compliance issues.
  • Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
