Position Summary
TourToTeach, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, driving financial performance and sales, providing supervision and development opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and serving as a role model for ethical behavior.
What you'll do...
- Tour stores and provide feedback to associates.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
- Utilize technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead company change efforts.
- Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved by developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing process improvement leadership.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved for the business area.
- Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), and State Pay Differential.

Live Better U
This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Minimum Qualifications
2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
