Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. What you'll do...
- Teaching and training associates, providing feedback, and actively listening to their concerns.
- Collaborating with all levels of associates to improve store operations and introduce and lead company change efforts.
- Providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams.
- Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
- Resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Leading and supporting process improvement initiatives to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit and Loss (PL) statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
- Maintaining effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervising and developing hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
- Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respecting individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
- Attracting and retaining the best talent by empowering and developing talent and recognizing others' contributions and accomplishments.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure differentials.

Live Better U
Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Minimum Qualifications
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications. 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
