About the role
Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services.
Maintains the Sales Floor in the Optical area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area, organizes and maintains the area, and completes required documentation following Company procedures.
Operates hardware such as cash registers, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
Sells Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear and contact lens orders, verifying prescription information, and performing optometric pretests.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $37.00 to $45.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
