About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality member service, including acknowledging members, verifying membership cards, and identifying member needs.
- Maintain and organize checkout areas, entrance areas, and exit areas; zone and arrange merchandise as required.
- Process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Promote Sam’s Club products and services to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology and new tool functionality.
- Train and mentor Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, procedures, and technology rollouts.
- Deliver new program rollouts and continuous learning opportunities to support process improvement.
- Follow company safety standards, including conducting safety sweeps, correcting unsafe situations, and reporting hazards to facility management.
- Handle merchandise according to proper procedures and identify shrink and damages.
- Secure and safeguard Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with company security and safety practices.
- Maintain required paperwork, logs, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and business partners to complete work assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
Qualifications
- Retail experience, including operating front-end equipment such as cash registers.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
