About the role

Responsibilities
- Provides member service and guidance on self-service technology.
- Maintains checkout, entrance, and exit areas; zones and organizes merchandise.
- Processes purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies and membership/payment types.
- Verifies membership cards, acknowledges members, and identifies member needs.
- Assists members with locating merchandise and transporting items.
- Follows safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, corrects unsafe situations, and reports hazards to management.
- Handles merchandise according to proper procedures and identifies shrink and damages.
- Secures and safeguards Sam’s Club assets by observing and reporting potential criminal activity.
- Completes required documentation, logs, and paperwork.
- Executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
- Trains Member Frontline Services associates on processes, procedures, and new technology; delivers rollout training and fosters continuous learning.
- Collaborates with managers, co-workers, and members to complete work assignments, meet deadlines, and improve processes.
Requirements
- Retail experience, including operating front-end equipment such as cash registers.
- Familiarity with mobile retail applications.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable local minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
