About the role
Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Manager for Operations Improvement to join our dynamic team. This role oversees multiple projects, defines scope and objectives, establishes deliverables and timelines, and ensures critical issues are resolved. You will manage project governance, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects by defining scope, objectives, activities, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Coordinate planning activities, assemble management plans, and track changes to ensure resolution of critical issues.
- Manage project governance, identify resources needed, and monitor budgets and costs for project completion.
- Deliver presentations, status reports, and project documentation to stakeholders at regular intervals.
- Manage content management initiatives, including evaluating and prioritizing content requests, designing and automating tools, and collaborating on intranet content development.
- Provide guidance on platform functionality, communication approaches, and content quality standards.
- Ensure content and digital communications align with governance standards; audit and adapt methods to resolve concerns.
- Analyze data to identify existing standards, processes, and workflows; evaluate business performance and develop improvement solutions.
- Edit existing processes, ensure simplicity and executability, and consult cross-functional teams for alignment.
- Evaluate and determine change and improvement needs; develop operational strategies to simplify processes.
- Provide expertise on company policies, ensure proper controls and tools for behavior change, and monitor program performance.
- Identify post-implementation issues, develop resolutions, and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying customer and operational needs, removing barriers, and adjusting performance.
- Supervise and develop associates through training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and fostering a team-based environment.
- Promote and support company policies, mission, values, and ethics; ensure compliance and utilize the Open Door Policy.
- Evaluate ongoing effectiveness of plans and initiatives; solicit and apply suggestions for improving efficiency.
- Participate in and support community outreach events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
- OR 6 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing project budgets.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Supervisory experience.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock for certain positions.
