Position Summary
The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting inspections, and executing repairs while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and appropriate tools.
- Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and replacement recommendations accurately.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as needed.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment following safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support business priorities.

What you'll bring
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures using multiple craft skills, including electrical work.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to operate and maintain vehicles and heavy machinery safely.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with managers, contractors, and coworkers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years of age.
- 2 years of experience in the electrical trade.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
- Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
