(USA) Freight Flow Associate

About the role

You will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, maintain the sales floor, provide member service, and ensure safety and inventory accuracy throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines to safely move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
• Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Assist customers with technology services and items, identifying shrink opportunities and addressing them.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
