(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance, and supporting them with purchases, issues, and promotions.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials correctly, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zonining the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Processes defective merchandise and follows company and regulatory policies and procedures for sanitation and food safety.
• Monitors the area for shrink, security risks, and safety issues and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low instock levels in assigned areas and uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Forklift Operations: Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner, reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices, and fixes any problems.
• Technology: Proactively identifies customers needing help, actively engages them, and assists them with technology services and items. Models and helps others with technology services. Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.

Pay & Benefits

• The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00*
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
