(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
• Picks up, moves, and positions merchandise and supplies.
• Organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Handles inventory moves and displays goods safely, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment correctly, reports poor inventory practices, and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and follows company steel standard guidelines.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help, engages them, and assists with technology services.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems, takes steps to fix them, and properly maintains equipment.
• Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, and supporting associates' growth.
• Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, acting selflessly, and being accountable.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
