(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance and support, and resolving issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing pick orders.
• Handles inventory by tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor practices.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe manner, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and follows company steel standard guidelines.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help, engages them, and assists with technology services.
• Maintains and organizes merchandise and supplies, manages inventory flow, and follows company policy and procedures for utilizing equipment appropriately.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner, and reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
