(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
• Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
• Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Handle and process defective merchandise according to company policies and regulations.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
• Manage inventory by tracking goods, maintaining stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Proactively identify and resolve shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
• Use technology to assist customers and engage in technology services.
• Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting the Walmart values, and acting in a selfless manner.
• Serve customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering how work impacts the team's ability to achieve the company's purpose.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
