About the role
You will operate a forklift and manage inventory in a Sam’s Club facility while adhering to company policies, safety standards, and merchandising guidelines. The role involves receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining the sales floor, assisting members, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, position, and place merchandise pallets according to company standards.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
- Ensure club pickup orders are accurately picked, staged, and audited according to company policies.
- Track inventory, control shrinkage, and report low stock levels or poor inventory practices.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
- Proactively assist members with technology services and identify opportunities to reduce shrink.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners to complete work assignments and improve processes.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Experience supervising a team.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
