Position Summary
Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, and assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
- Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring for shrinkage and security risks.
- Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Reports poor inventory practices and low instock levels, performs occasional audits for accuracy, and uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Forklift Operations: Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly, reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices, and follows company steel standard guidelines.
- Technology: Proactively identifies customers needing help, actively engages them, assists with technology services and items, models and helps others with technology services, identifies shrink opportunities and problems, and takes steps to fix them.
- Maintains and organizes products and ensures they are stocked in the correct way, promptly fixes any problems, and respects individual differences and cultures.

Minimum Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience.
- Retail Experience.
- Supervising a team.
