Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
  • Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
  • Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
  • Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
  • Handle club pick-up orders by picking, staging, and auditing orders for accuracy.
  • Manage inventory by tracking goods, maintaining stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor practices.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report poor or unsafe conditions.
  • Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
  • Identify and resolve shrink opportunities and problems.
  • Maintain and organize products and ensure they are stocked correctly.
  • Fix any problems with equipment and products.
  • Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, modeling the Walmart values, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.
