About the role
The Lead Store Manager is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving store performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Tourstores and provides feedback to associates, teaching training and actively listening to their needs.
- Collaborates with all levels of associates to manage store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
- Manages customer service initiatives and ensures customer complaints are resolved.
- Reviews and evaluates financial performance, budgets, and expenses to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Hires, trains, mentors, and assigns duties to hourly associates, setting clear expectations and providing recognition.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the Open Door Policy.
- Builds high-performing teams, fosters a culture of belonging, and recruits and develops qualified associates.
- Manages and develops team members, providing direction and guidance on applying company policies and practices.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the Open Door Policy.
Requirements
- 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of college, 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
