Position Summary
Coordinates job-related activities and assignments, supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results, identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
What you'll do...
- Supervises and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
- Hires and trains mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Respects individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and attracting and retaining the best talent.
- Acts with integrity by maintaining and promoting the highest standards of ethics and compliance, modeling Walmart values, holding oneself and others accountable, and encouraging learning from mistakes.
- Serves customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering various stakeholders.

- Meets legislative requirements by attending and successfully completing all job-required trainings and assessments, such as firearms-specific Criminal Background Checks and Firearms Authorized Training.

Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
