(USA) Carwash/Gas Attendant FT
About the role
You will communicate and explain Sam’s Club Membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective Members to assist with account decisions, build Membership levels, encourage renewals, and promote the value of Sam’s Club products and services. You will also provide customer service, maintain the Gas Station/Car Wash area, stock merchandise, operate equipment, and process customer purchases.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge Customers/Members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain the Gas Station/Car Wash area by cleaning, organizing, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, handling claims and returns, arranging merchandise/supplies, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, organize and maintain the facility, and complete required paperwork and documentation.
- Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
- Operate and maintain Gas Station/Car Wash area equipment and provide products and services to Customers in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
