About the Role

Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area through effective merchandise management, customer service, and team leadership. Ensures accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory control, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Develops and implements plans to meet sales and profit goals while addressing deficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and stock merchandise, ensuring effective presentation and instock levels.
  • Budget and forecast sales, assess economic trends and community needs, and implement corrective plans to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Provide customer service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
  • Process customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Train and certify technicians on service-related procedures, stage customer vehicles, and assist with workflow.
  • Maintain the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor by stocking, rotating, and organizing merchandise, removing damaged goods, and setting up displays.
  • Ensure accurate signing, pricing, and security of fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Maintain equipment, handle customer and merchandise claims, and monitor environmental disposal (e.g., batteries, tires, oil) for OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, and support initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Foster a high-performing team by embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and providing opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with others, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact to motivate and influence.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in automotive service or a related service industry field.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • For facilities selling firearms: Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities selling only ammunition: Current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility (where applicable).
  • Ability to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (through Live Better U and Bellevue University).
  • Additional experience in automotive service or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • ASE Certification.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments, state pay differentials (where applicable), and other differentials based on external challenges or legislative requirements.
