Mechanical Assembler Job Type: W2 Contract Contract Duration: 12 Months, Possible Conversion Location: Minden, Nevada 89423 Work Setting: 100% Onsite Schedule: Day Shift - 6:30am to 2:00pm Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $20.79/hr. Job Summary This position is focused on the hands-on assembly and functional testing of mechanical equipment and components. The role involves working from bill-of-material requirements, operating test equipment, calibrating and maintaining assembly tools, and ensuring completed assemblies meet established customer, division, and engineering criteria before shipment. This is a strong opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who is comfortable following detailed instructions and working with assembly and testing processes. Key Responsibilities Assemble components according to Bill of Material (BOM) requirementsPerform functional testing on mechanical assembliesTest-assemble equipment according to customer and division criteriaOperate test equipment in alignment with engineering standardsApply required settings and calibrations to assembly toolsMaintain assembly tools used throughout the production and testing processFollow established instructions and requirements throughout assembly and testingEnsure mechanical assemblies are properly completed before moving to shipmentPrepare completed assemblies for shipmentMaintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout assigned assembly and testing activities Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent1+ year of relevant experienceMechanical backgroundAbility to follow instructions accuratelyAbility to work with mechanical assemblies, assembly tools, and testing equipmentStrong attention to detail when completing assembly and testing activities Ideal Background Candidates with hands-on mechanical, assembly, testing, or related experience may align well with this position.
