(USA) Area Manager - Floor (Grocery)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (customers, suppliers, associates).
• Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety.
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitoring compliance; and distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
• Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns, listen, consult with others, determine corrective actions, and make recommendations to resolve issues.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling logistics and company policies; identifying training and development needs; and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field + 1 year supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience
• 2 years Walmart Logistics experience
• 2 years supervisory experience

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500 – $98,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, possible Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location, and stock awards.
