(USA) Area Manager - Floor (Grocery)
About the role
Implement the business plan for your area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing, scheduling, duties, and workload coordination to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety. Monitor and manage productivity through business reports, maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, and identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns.
Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training and development needs. Participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation processes.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals or groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates) verbally and/or in writing.
- Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates comply with Logistics and company policies, distributing procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Identify and address associate, customer, or supplier concerns by determining corrective actions or making recommendations.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs.
- Build high-performing teams by embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences to create an inclusive workplace.
- Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year of supervisory experience, or
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or
- 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, or
- 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience, or
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience supervising associates.
- Experience with Walmart Logistics Systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments (based on location) and stock.
