US Tax Senior (Investment Management) - Bermuda

About the Role
You will play an integral role in providing tax compliance and consulting services to clients in the financial services industry. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, providing tax solutions for their tax needs. You will continuously learn and develop, gaining exposure to different businesses and complex challenges. Your responsibilities include leading, planning, and executing various US tax engagements from start to finish, assisting clients with tax planning, tax research, and tax compliance filings. You will also leverage tax tools and new technologies, develop and mentor junior tax team members, and engage in well-being and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field; or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA)
- A relevant professional designation that allows for practice before the US IRS (e.g., US state-licensed CPA or attorney or IRS Enrolled Agent), or near completion
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing tax services within a professional services firm or large-scale law or public accounting organization
- Knowledge of US international tax compliance and US internal revenue code
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of US taxation of investment products and services, including hedge funds, and/or US taxation of insurance companies
- PREFERRED: Master’s degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field, and/or JD/LLM (taxation focus) from a US accredited institution

Pay
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
Schedule
This is a 18 to 24-month contract position.
