US Patriot Retail Lead Sales Associate

Starting rate: $18.75/hour

US Patriot is seeking a Full-Time Lead Retail Sales Associate to match soldiers and airmen to top brands like Nike, Oakley, and Under Armour. Join a fun, energetic team at our Fort Drum, NY on-base location with over 105 retail stores and multiple web portals serving tactical gear needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with various tasks
• Greet every customer promptly and address all customer needs
• Answer customer inquiries about price, quality, fabric type, specifications, and product usability
• Upsell products and recommend add-on items to enhance customer orders
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales
• Replenish merchandise and monitor floor stock to maintain appropriate inventory
• Maintain a clean and orderly store through necessary housekeeping
• Complete all paperwork correctly and efficiently
• Provide information on contract specifications and associated products
• Handle irate customers professionally and courteously
• Assist with product questions and provide information over the phone
• Collaborate within and outside the retail department to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Adhere to company mission, policies, procedures, and practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year minimum of retail experience preferred (training available)
• Friendly, outgoing, and helpful demeanor
• Previous retail or customer service experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents and interact effectively with customers
• Basic math skills and proficiency with PCs and order management systems
• Ability to work with minimal supervision under pressure
• Strong grammar, voice, and diction with high attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Capability to operate all store equipment and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible shift hours, 7 days a week
