US Patriot Lead Retail Sales Associate

About the role

US Patriot is seeking a Full Time Lead Retail Sales Associate to match soldiers and airmen to the best brands in the business including Nike, Oakley, and Under Armour. The position offers excellent medical/dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and a variety of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Store Manager in various tasks
• Greets every customer in a prompt, timely manner and alerts and responds to all customer needs
• Answers customer's inquiries, including questions on price, quality, fabric type, specifications, and usability of merchandise
• Upsells customers on other products and recommends add-on items to enhance the customer's order
• Sets up advertising displays and folds and arranges merchandise to promote sales
• Replenishes merchandise and monitors floor stock to ensure appropriate inventory is available for customers
• Fills out all paperwork correctly and efficiently
• Provides information regarding contract specifications and products associated with contracts
• Handles irate customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Affords to answer product questions and provide information over the phone
• Communicates and works closely within and outside retail departments to ensure customer needs are met with 100% accuracy
• Adheres to company mission, policies, procedures, and practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year minimum of retail experience preferred
• Previous retail or customer service experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents, interact effectively with customers, calculate figures, operate a PC, and use Galls' order management system
• Ability to stand for entire shift, operate and use all necessary equipment, handle merchandise up to 50 pounds, and work flexible shift hours 7 days a week

Qualifications
